The manager of Asamoah Gyan, Samuel Anim Addo has disclosed that the former Black Stars captain is still open to joining Asante Kotoko.

Gyan, 37, since 2020 has been linked with several moves to play for the Porcupine Warriors club.

Although he at a point came close to signing for the team, a deal was not struck.

Ahead of the 2023/24 football season, Sammy Anim Addo says Asamoah Gyan is still open to joining Asante Kotoko.

According to him, if the player is approached, he will honour the call to sign for the Reds.

“If Otumfour speaks, who are you to decline his call to duty? We are his sons and if he calls, we will gladly accept it,” the Manager for Asamoah Gyan told Oyerepa Sports.

Asante Kotoko after missing out on winning a silverware last season are expected to sign new top players to augment their squad.

As part of preparations for the next football season, the board of the club has been dissolved following the expiration of its mandate.

A new board and management will be formed by Manyhia very soon.
