Asante Kotoko defender Samuel Frimpong has revealed that he sees Godfred Saka as a great role model for himself.

Frimpong joined the Porcupine Warriors on a season-long loan from Karela United after falling down the pecking order.

The 22-year-old, who has made a handful of appearances this season says he has learnt a lot from Amos Frimpong and Augustine Sefah however, he admires Saka for his professionalism and looks up to him.

"Since I moved from midfield to the right-back position, one player I’ve always looked up to is Godfred Saka, I admire him so much even though I learned a lot from Amos Frimpong and Augustine Sefah at Kotoko but Saka is fantastic and you could see at some point I also did rasta just to look like him," he told myfabulousonlinecom.

"I tried to copy everything about him even his body language when he’s on the pitch and many even asked if we were siblings, I watched his videos a lot together with Philip Lahm."

Saka spent almost a decade at Aduana Stars, where he won the Ghana Premier League title in 2010.
