Asante Kotoko has been urged to take steps towards improving their scouting process and establishing an academy.
Former Mayor of Kumasi and NDC Flagbearer hopeful, Kojo Bonsu, has spoken out on the importance of these measures in ensuring the long-term success and sustainability of the club.
With a history dating back to 1935, Asante Kotoko has amassed a loyal fan base and a reputation as one of the strongest teams in the Ghanaian football scene.
However, as competition continues to grow and evolve, Bonsu argues that the club must adapt and invest in key areas if they wish to remain competitive and relevant in the years to come.
“We have to do proper scouting and get an academy. If we don’t have an academy, all the players will just come and go. So, we need to have a system, but unfortunately, we are not prepared to wait for the system," he said
"We need to build, have patience, and give management time to run the club,”
