Kumasi Asante Kotoko are likely to play the Black Meteors of Ghana in a friendly on Sunday following their cancelled game with fellow Premier League side Ebusua Dwarfs.

Ghana's sole representative in Africa have intensified preparations ahead of their CAF Confederations Cup campaign with friendlies against some of the top sides in the country.

The Porcupine Warriors will face the Black Meteors in a friendly who have also started preparations for the upcoming Africa U-23 championship qualifiers against Togo.

The CAF Confederations Cup campaigners were given a walkover in the preliminary stages of the Continental Championship after the Cameroonian Football Federation failed to submit a representative on time.

Meanwhile, Coach Charles Kwabla Akunnor and his charges will face the winner of the game between Kenyan side Kariobangi Sharks and ARTA Solar of Djiobouti.

On the other hand,  the winner in the game between Ghana and Togo will go on to face the Gambia.
