Asante Kotoko are on the verge of completing this signing of ex-Dynamo Brest forward Dickson Afoakwa in the ongoing transfer window.

Afoakwa has already started training with the Porcupine Warriors and has impressed the technical handlers of the club.

He is expected to pen a two-year deal, according to Ghanasportspage.com

Afoakwa has been without a club since parting ways with South African side, Stellenbosch FC in 2019.

Kotoko are currently one of the busiest sides in the transfer market, having already signed former Inter Allies midfielder Richmond Lamptey, Maxwell Agyemang of Wamanfo Mighty Royals FC, 18-year-old, Clinton Opoku from Phar Rangers, and Samuel Boateng from Division One League side, Future Stars.

The highly-rated youngster has previously had stints in Europe with Belarusian clubs Dinamo Brest and Gomel, as well as Slovenian side NK Triglav.
