Christopher Nettey has not been risked for Asante Kotoko's match week 15 clash against Inter Allies in the on-going Ghana Premier League, after being left out of the Reds' 18-man squad.

The 21-year-old is awaiting the results of a scan to determine the severity of an ankle injury sustained during Thursday's goalless draw against Elmina Sharks.

Footballghana.com understands Nettey is expected to spend one-week on the sidelines as he recovers from his injury he suffered on match week 14.

The highly-rated youngster has been one of the standout players for the Porcupine Warriors, featuring in 12 games thus far.

He will be replaced by Augustine Sefah ahead of the crucial game with Inter Allies at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday.

He joined Asante Kotoko from lower-tier side Attram Visseer Academy at the beginning of the 2019/20 season.

Kotoko are currently 4th on the league table with 25 points, five points adrift leaders Medeama SC following their 2-0 following over Legon Cities on Saturday.
