AshantiGold Supporters Chairman, Kweku Jonah says the team will use the one week break to turn fortunes in the ongoing league season.

Earlier this week, the club’s management issued a three-match ultimatum to the technical team to turn their fortunes around.

“I must admit that the break has helped us a lot, it has revealed our shortcomings in the season. The players came back looking fresh without any injury situation,” he told Happy FM.

“I believe with what I’ve seen so far since the players returned, I can confidently say our season form will be better. We have been able to patched the loop holes in the side and I want to assure every AshantiGold supporters that we’re resuming with a fresh mentality.”

The Miners currently occupy 13th position with 7 points.
