AshantiGold defender Kadiri Mohammed says the players cannot be blamed for their failure to defend the premier league title won last season.
With Four matches to end the season, the Obuasi based side are 10th with 33 points, 11 points adrift leaders Wa All Stars.
Some fans of the club have blamed the players for not helping the team this season but Kadiri Mohammed disagrees.
“If you have been watching our games, you will realize we have been doing our best for the club and the people of Obuasi but we just don’t know how things have gone bad,” he said
“We just have to try and push more to ensure we place well on the standings with four matches to go.”
