Ghanaian giants, Ashanti Gold SC have parted ways with head coach Milovan Cirkovic, footballghana.com can report.
The Miners as they are called, appointed the Serbian tactician as their head coach in November 2020.
At a time the team was struggling in the Ghana Premier League, the 57-year old turned around the fortunes of the team with his attacking play.
Unfortunately, the team could not maintain their form and in the past month suffered setbacks in the matches they played.
On the back of a meeting with club President Dr. Kwaku Frimpong on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, Ashanti Gold SC has terminated the contract of Coach Milovan Cirkovic on mutual grounds.
As already seen last week, assistant coach Thomas Duah is now in charge of the team and expected to play an interim role until the club appoints a new head coach.
