Chief Executive Officer of AshantiGold, Emmanuel Frimpong says the club will make Ghana proud in the 2020/21 Caf Confederations Cup campaign.
The Miners following the truncation of the 2019/20 have been given the nod to represent Ghana in the Caf inter-club competition next season.
With many questioning their squad depth, the young football administrator is convinced they have what it takes to make the country proud.
"We are going to Africa and come back with victory," he told Kumasi based Sikka FM.
"I am convinced about that. The supporters will understand what we are doing when football fully resumes.
"I am imploring them to support us and we will make them and teh country proud," he added.
Ashgold recently underwent a Covid-19 test as they begin preparations for their Africa campaign.
