Atalanta’s friendly game at the Centro Bortolotti against Sporting Franciacorta, a Serie D side, ended 3-1.
The match was divided into two 40-minute halves, which were useful for those who did not feature or were partially used in the league game against Milan. The club’s latest signing, Soppy, was also on the pitch.
Muriel and Lookman scored for Atalanta in the first half, and Muriel added another in the second half (who also hit the crossbar and the post). The visitors found the back of the net with the last kick of the game through Bertazzoli.
A behind-closed-doors double session is scheduled for today, Wednesday 24 August, at the Centro Bortolotti in Zingonia.
