Atlético Madrid returned to training at Cerro del Espino without midfield dynamo, Thomas Partey.
Partey, 25, who has barely had a preseason was working with Álvaro Morata in the gym as a precaution.
The first part of the session was led by Prof Ortega.
A very small group of the first team was present (only nine players), among which were Diego Costa, Angel Correa, Arias, Felipe, Vitolo, Koke, Renan Lodi, Marcos Llorente and Iván Saponjic to which Riquelme joined them, Manu Sánchez and Toni Moya of the subsidiary.
