Vincent Oppong Asamoah, deputy Minister for Sports, has charged Head Coach of the Black Stars Avram Grant  to turn things around and ensure Ghana qualifies for the 2018 FIFA World Cup .

The Black Stars lie 3rd in Group E of the qualifiers after drawing against Uganda at home and losing 2-0 to Egypt in the second game.

Ghana under the tutelage of Avram Grant, have failed to win in any of their last five games leading pundits to call for his head.

The Black Stars chances of making another World Cup appearance is in doubt but deputy Sports Minister Oppong Asamoah is confident the team can bounce back to winning ways and qualify if Grant does the right thing.

“I don't believe that Ghana is out of the world. Avram grant should wake up from his slumber and put things together.” “Mathematically, we are still in the race.” He told Abusua Fm‬‬‬‬‬.

The Black Stars having picked just a point from a possible six in their first two games, will take on Congo Brazzaville in the third game of the Russia 2018 Qualifiers with the hope of returning to winning ways.
