Barcelona chief Guillermo Amor admits the future of Javier Mascherano is still to be decided.
The veteran defender has declared this is likely his last season at Barca, though when he departs - whether in January or June - is still to be decided.
Amor was asked about the situation after their Champions League draw with Chelsea.
He stated: "For Mascherano, we will see soon. You have to look at the transfers and the way it's all happening.
"Mascherano is a captain, a winner and he is very important to us. When he plays and when he does not play, when he is injured or when he is on the bench."
