La liga champions Fc Barcelona have recalled their sour experience with Kevin Prince Boateng who made a surprise switch to the club on loan from Sassuolo in 2019.
Boateng was signed by Barcelona as a possible replacement for Uruguay International Luis Suarez, a decision which the clubs board wishes not to repeat with the rampant injury of Dembélé's
"Barca discards signing, notes 'AS'. The experience with Kevin-Prince Boateng was not good , he hardly counted for Valverde. Barça paid two million for a transfer of 303 minutes of play."
The 31-year-old Ghanaian completed a temporary deal to Ernesto Valverde's side in 2019 in which he won the La Liga title with 3 appearances.
