Barcelona youth star Anssumane Fati would have a new opportunity to equal Peter Ofori- Quaye's history as the youngest scorer in the history of the Champions League.

The Ghanaian who scored for Olympiakos against Rosenborg in the group stage of the 1997/1998 Champions league season  was only 17 years, 6 months and 7 days at that time.

At 17 and 40 days, Ansu will make a champions league appearance against inter milan in the absence of regular forward Messi.

The 17-year-old winger, who is the youngest player to score for Barcelona in La Liga, will remain with the Catalan club until 2022.
