Barcelona midfielder IvanRakitić believes teammate Luis Suarez is one of the best in the world, thanks to his time at Liverpool.
Speaking toThe Times, the Croatian claimed:"The years at Liverpool were really important for Luis.There, he makes the change from a good player to be the best striker in the world and then do the next step at Barcelona.
"When he's not playing, it feels something's wrong. Luis is one of the most important players for us.He's a really good guy in the dressing room, one of the most open people who likes to joke."
During his three year stint at Anfield, the striker was named PFA Player of the year,scoring82 goals in 133 appearances. Thiscaught the eye of Barcelona who he signed for in 2014.
Since his big moneymove to the Spanish giants, the controversial striker has bagged an impressive 62 goals in 70 matches in La Liga.
