BARESI HANDS OUT THE FIRST 100 SPECIAL SHIRTS

Published on: 10 June 2020

This morning Franco Baresi, the Rossoneri’s historic captain and current AC Milan Brand Ambassador, delivered the first 100 special shirts on behalf of the Club to the medical staff at the Policlinico di Milano as a thank you and tribute to all those involved in the fight against COVID-19. The shirt’s customisation displays “AC Milan Together” written in gold writing on the chest as well as the “Everything will be alright” patch on the sleeve.

For Juventus v AC Milan in the Coppa Italia semi-final second leg, the team will play in the shirt with that patch dedicated to hospital staff. The shirts will then be auctioned and the proceeds will help finance an important Fondazione Milan programme.

The Fondazione Milan has in fact joined the Municipality of Milan’s Food Aid Scheme, through which food is distributed to the most vulnerable families within the Milan metropolis.

The distribution of the remaining 500 shirts to other hospitals throughout Milan will continue over the coming weeks.
