Thomas Muller has come out fighting, following criticism of the Bayern Munich team and believes that talk of a crisis at the club is nothing more than anoverreaction, according toKicker.
With new manager Carlo Ancelotti taking over from Pep Guardiola, all appeared to be going well for the German champions who started the season winning all of their first eight games.
Defeat to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League group stage brought the Bavarian's back down to earth and they then dropped their first points in the Bundesliga last weekend, drawing 1-1at home to Cologne.
The surprise draw has been followed by numerous Bayern players publicly criticising the team, with both goalkeeper Manuel Neuer and captain Philip Lahm insisting that they and their teammateshave plenty of work to do.
With the press quick to pounce on the comments made by the team's senior players, some have been questioning whether all is well under new manager Carlo Ancelotti. But Muller leaped to the defence of the Italianand insists that there are no problems at the club.
Muller said:"We won our first eight matches with a new coach at FC Bayern and once we do not win for two matches in a row there is immediately a fire in the house," .

"I do not have the feeling at all that we're lacking motivation.After the 1-1 last Saturday we were all annoyed, because it is not our aim to play a draw at home. That annoys us. (But) a yield of 16 points after six matches is not necessarily indicative of a problem."
When asked specifically about new manager Ancelotti and whether the Italian was capable of motivating the Bayern players, Muller replied:"His nature is good and positive in moments of crisis, because he does not allow restlessness.But if necessary our team certainly can use a kick in the butt, too. I do not see any danger of us easing up. We have to stay focused."
Despite the draw, Bayern remain three points clear at the top of the table and are still big favourites to win the Bundesliga for the fifth time in a row.
