The Chief Executive Officer of Bechem United, Nana Kwesi Darling, has accused the Nana Addo's led NPP administration of taking over football in the country.

According to him, football people in the country have been sidelined in everything the country.

He further insisted the appointments made so far by the Normalization Committee for the respective committees is a clear example.

He cited the appointments of members of the Black Stars management committee and the task force among other instances and said he doubts Fifa made most of the appointments but rather suspects that the government makes them, and only sends to Fifa to endorse for them.

“Look at even the number of the Normalization Committee, how can a committee be made up just four members, how do they vote, we the football people have been neglected, our voices have not been heard, how then do we make suggestions?" he told Angel TV.

"Look they would end up struggling along the way, which would affect us all”, he said.

Nana Kwesi Darling, however, warned that they would not sit and leave the football in the hands of politicians. He called for elections to be conducted in the soonest possible time so that they would manage affairs well.
