Bechem United coach draws inspiration from Bayern Munich's final day success ahead of GPL closure

Bechem United coach Kasim Ocansey Mingle is not giving up on the Ghana Premier League title until the final whistle.

The Hunters enter the final round of the domestic top-flight campaign as the second-placed team, trailing log leaders, Medeama by three points.

Just as Dortmund bottled the German Bundesliga title on final day, Kasim Mingles seems to be drawing inspiration from the experience to annex the title.

Medeama are now just a point away from winning the league as they prepare to face the Tamale City.

But a win for Bechem United and a defeat for Medeama will propel the Hunters to overtake the Yellow and Mauves for the title.

Speaking Wontumi FM monitored by Footballghana.com, Kasim Mingle insisted the title race is not over, as looking forward to Bayern success over Dortmund on final round.

“We are not giving up on the title until the season is over. We all have a game to play before the season ends, so anything can happen”

“Our situation is just like that of Dortmund and Bayern Munich. Everything favours Medeama, just a point will win them the league but a defeat for them will change the narrative. If Medeama lose and we win, it means the league is ours, that is why I said it is not over until is over” he said.

Bechem United will travel to Dormaa to face Aduana Stars in the final round of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
