Bechem united trainer Kassim Ocansey Mingle believes Bibiani Goldstars is the toughest team his outfit has faced ahead of the final round of games this weekend.

In an interview with Wontumi FM monitored by, the highly-rated tactician said Goldstars gave his side a difficult time in the first half of the 2022/23 campaign.

The first meeting between the two clubs ended 1-0 in favour of Goldstars at the Duns Park in week 3 whiles the reverse fixture ended 2-0 for Bechem United.

“The toughest team I have faced as a coach is our game against Goldstars in Bibiani, it was fire. In the first half, they were on top and dominated play but turned things around in the second half.”

“It is said Michael Osei has picked their clash with us as his toughest game. No wonder, he felt the heat in the game. Truth be told, he did well. We were exchanging tactics in the clash, so it was a very tough and a good game for both teams” he said.

The Hunters enter the final round of the domestic top-flight campaign as the second-placed team, trailing log leaders, Medeama by three points.
