Belgium outfit Standard Liege have secured the signing of Ghanaian forward Grejohn Kyei in the ongoing transfer window, Footballghana.com can confirm.

Kyei joins the Jupiler Pro League side after ending his spell with French outfit Clermont Foot following the expiration of his contract last month.

The French-born Ghanaian attacker signed a three-year contract keeping him at Standard Liege until summer 2027.

The 28-year-old is expected to play a huge role for his new outfit in the 2024/25 football campaign. He will be a valuable asset for the club considering the level of experience he’s had in his career.

Kyei has had spells with RC Lens, Stade Reims, Servette and others.

The French-Ghanaian made 27 appearances in the recently concluded campaign for Clermont Foot, scoring two goals and providing an assist.

Despite conscious effort, Kyei was unable to help Clermont Foot survive relegation in the French Ligue 1.
