Benjamin Tetteh: Sparta negotiating with Malatyaspor

Published on: 26 June 2021

On paper, he is still a Sparta player, but that could change soon in the case of striker Benjamin Tetteh. According to the iSport.cz editorial staff, the Letna club is negotiating a hard transfer with the Turkish Malatyaspor, where the Ghanaian footballer was a guest last season. Praguers could collect about two million euros, or about 50 million crowns, for a native of Accra. Tetteh himself would not resist staying in Asia Minor.

When Benjamin Tetteh left Letna last September, Sparta collected 20 million crowns for his one-year visit to Malatyaspor. The agreement also included a transfer option in the amount of 100 million crowns. The Turkish club decided not to apply here after last season, but it is interested in a long shooter.

That is why negotiations on a permanent transfer are currently taking place between the two clubs. In fact, Tetteh is no longer counted on in Sparta, and since he has a contract in the club for only one year, sales are the preferred option for the Prague team.

"The clubs are talking about the conditions under which it would be possible to make the transfer. The player himself would not resist continuing in Turkey, he does not see his future in Sparta, "confirmed a source familiar with the course of courtship.

According to information from iSport.cz, in the case of Tetteh, there is talk of an amount of approximately two million euros, ie approximately 50 million crowns. To this, however, various bonuses could be added, and above all a percentage of any resale. It is so likely that millions more will touch the Spartan treasury in the future.
