Bernard Mensah in line to mark Besiktas debut against PAOK in UCL qualification match

Besiktas' new attacking midfielder, Bernard Mensah is in contention to mark his debut for the club when they take on Greek outfit PAOK later this month in the UEFA Champions League second-round qualifying phase.

The Ghanaian international in the last 24 hours officially sealed a loan transfer from Kayserispor to the Turkish Super Lig giants with an option to be signed permanently at the end of the season.

Today, news being picked up has indicated that Bernard Mensah could play his first match in the qualifiers for the next season’s Uefa Champions League where Besiktas is billed to take on PAOK.

It will be a dream start of the highly-rated midfielder who is eager to play in the elite club competition of Europe.

Last season, Mensah scored 5 goals and provided 8 assists for Kayserispor in the Turkish Super Liga. He undoubtedly has the quality and will be looked at by his manager for the upcoming crucial game.
