Turkish giants Besiktas have decided to return Ghanaian midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng back to Fiorentina according to beIN Sport.
The 33 year old made the loan move to Besiktas in January after a poor start to the season in the Italian Serie A. The Ghanaian has scored two goals in seven matches in the Super Lig so far.
According to beIN Sport, Besiktas decided against extending the former Barcelona man's loan deal or signing him on a permanent fee.
Fiorentina will now have to decide if they will send the former AC Milan star back on loan or sell him for a fee. Boateng's contract with Fiorentina runs till 2021.
