Black Queens forward Dorsi Boaduwaa has hailed her teammates for their outstanding performance against Zambia despite failing to secure qualification to the 2024 Olympic Games.

The senior women’s national team lost narrowly to the Copper Queens in the penultimate game of the qualifiers.

The Black Queens faced a tough challenge against Zambia, losing the first leg 1-0 in Accra and then drawing 3-3 in the reverse fixture in Ndola.

Despite their best efforts, the team ultimately fell short, with Zambia advancing to the next round with a 4-3 aggregate score.

"Despite the difficulty of this outcome, I am proud of the team's collective efforts. Thank you for your unwavering support. We look forward to sharing more beautiful moments with you in the future," she wrote on X after the game.

The Black Queens will now focus on the 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations, which takes place in Morocco later this year.
