21-year-old Ghanaian international midfielder, Evelyn Badu has signed a contract with FC Fleury 91 until 2025 in the French top flight.

The announcement was made on Tuesday night just after her return from international duty where the Black Queens failed to qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games final qualifying round.

Badu was a regular starter at Hasaacas Ladies Football Club and has won the Ghana Women’s Premier League twice in 2019 and 2021.

In 2021, she participated in the inaugural edition of the most important African women's club football competition, where she was named the best player of the group stage and later the best player of the competition.

Despite her team's loss in the final against Mamelodi Sundowns, Badu was named the top scorer of the 2021 CAF Women's Champions League.

In December of the same year, she signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with the Norwegian club L'Avaldsnes Idrettslag.

In international play, she participated in the 2018 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in France, during which the Ghanaian team was eliminated in the group stage.

The following year, the young international continued her national career and joined the Ghanaian national team, participating in the CAF 2020 Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournament.

In 2024, Evelyn Badu officially becomes a Floriacum Lioness, wearing the number 17.
