Black Queens to open camp on Sunday ahead crucial 2024 Olympic Games qualifier against Zambia

The Black Queens of Ghana will open camping on Sunday, February 18, 2024 ahead of their crucial 2024 Olympic Games qualifier against Zambia.

The senior women national team will play host to Zambia at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, February 23 before traveling to Ndola for the return leg on February 28.

Coach Nora Hauptle, who has been impressive since taking over the Black Queens has announced a 23 players for the much-anticipated game.

The Black Queens began the 2024 Olympic qualifiers on a flying note with a 7-0 aggregate thumping of Guinea in July and 5-0 aggregate record against Benin in October, 2023.

The team is poised to defeat Zambia to secure qualification to the Olympics.

Meanwhile, Gifty Oware-Mensah, Chairperson of the Black Queens Management Committee, has assured the players will receive their overdue bonuses before their upcoming game against Zambia.
