Black Stars visit headquarters of partners Access Bank in Accra [PHOTOS]

Ghana's national football team, the Black Stars, made a special visit to their banking partners, Access Bank in Accra on Monday.

This visit was part of the partnership obligations following a deal signed two years ago.

The team received a warm welcome from Olumide Olatunji, the Managing Director of Access Bank Ghana, and Matilda Asante-Asiedu, the Group Head of Retail Banking at Access Bank Ghana Plc, along with other senior executives.

The players, including Mohammed Kudus, Gideon Mensah, Mohammed Salisu, Tariq Lamptey, Alidu Seidu, Joseph Wollacott, Antoine Semenyo, and Thomas Teye Partey, were present for the visit.

During the visit, Managing Director Olumide Olatunji pledged the bank's diverse support for the team as they prepare for their 5th FIFA World Cup appearance.

The Black Stars have been training in Accra in preparation for the crucial FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Mali and Central African Republic.

The visit concluded with a group photo session at the Airport headquarters.

Ghana is set to play Mali in Bamako on Thursday, June 6, followed by a match against Central African Republic at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Monday, June 10, 2024.
