Bofoakwa Tano striker Welbeck Takyi says he is open to playing for the two most glamourous clubs in the country, Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak when the opportunity comes.

Welbeck who has been instrumental in the Division One League has become a subject of interest for several clubs in the country.

He was linked with a move to the Porcupine Warriors as replacement for departed Kwame Poku but a deal could not be reached.

However, in an interview with Kumasi based Angel FM, the enterprising forward disclosed he is not a fan of both clubs but said he is open to playing for them in the future.

“I heard the rumors from Asante Kotoko but I have contract with my current club. I want to help them secure qualification to the Premier League at the end of the season”

“The truth is that; I am not a fan of both clubs but I’m ever ready to play for them” he said.
