Brekum Chelsea captain, Zakaria Fuseini has set sights on winning the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League defender of the season in order to secure foreign offers.
The nation’s football governing body in a statement announced that the domestic top flight league will commence on November 13, 2020 after six months of inactive football in the country.
However, the former Ghana U-23 who has been tipped to become one of the greatest defenders in the country is hoping to win the best defender accolade at the end of the season.
“It is the dream of every player to play well and secure foreign offers. So my target is to work hard like I did in the previous season so I can acquire offers from abroad” he told S.K Ntim of Bryt FM in Koforidua.
“At the end of the season, I expect to be nominated among defenders who will vie for the defender of the season and subsequently win it. I want to get foreign offers at the end of the 2020/2021 season” he said.
