English Premier League side Burnely are set to make an £8m move for FSV Mainz attacker Robin Quaison, according to reports.
The 26-year-old has been linked with a move to several clubs including Tottenham after scoring an impressive 13 goals in 32 league appearances in the Bundesliga last season.
Quaison has one-year left on his current contract with the German side.
In a recent interview, he stated that “I'm 100 percent ready".
"There is nothing that scares me. I like challenges and have the feeling that I could adapt very quickly,"
"I want to play for big teams and win titles," he added.
The former AIK player has a buy out clause understood to be around £14m but Burnley will test the water to see if Mainz are willing to take a lower offer.
Quaison was on target for Mainz in their 5-1 win over TSV Havelse in the DFB Pokal on Friday.
