President of Moroccan giants RS Berkane, Hakim Ben Abdellah has shared that he is confident his side will be able to beat Obuasi Ashanti Gold when they engage them in the first leg of the second round tie of this year’s CAF Confederations Cup.
The two clubs are billed for a crucial game in the coming weekend as they bid to secure progression to the group stage of the CAF inter-club competition.
Though RS Bekane will be playing as the away team which is often a disadvantage, Club President Hakim Ben Abdellah insists his team have the men to defeat their opponent on the match day.
Speaking in an interview with Kumasi-based Ashh FM earlier today, RS Bekane President has shared that he believes his players can get the job done this weekend.
In an interview with Ashh FM on Tuesday, he indicated, “We don’t know much about the Ashgold team and I know the game won’t be easy but we trust our players and we will make sure we win the game on Saturday”.
“We are taking it match after match and I know with the kind of players we have, we can win the game against Ashgold here in Ghana”.
The match will be played at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium on Saturday, September 14, 2019.
