Asante Kotoko have been drawn against FC Noaudhibou in the preliminary stages of the CAF Champions League competition in the 2020/2021 football season.

Nicknamed the Porcupine Warriors, the Kumasi-based club was selected to represent Ghana in the flagship inter-club competition of CAF in June following the abrupt end to the Ghana Premier League season as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic.

At the end of the official draw for the CAF Champions League competition today, Asante Kotoko have been paired against FC Noaudhibou.

The winner of the preliminary stage tie will go up against the winner of the clash between Al Hilal and Uganda Vipers.

Asante Kotoko have in the past couple of months had an intensive pre-season ahead of the commencement of the new football season.

With the opponent in the Champions League now clear, the team will continue preparation for the tie in a bid to emerge victorious.
