Medeama owner, Moses Armah Parker is undoubtedly confident his outfit will progress to the quarterfinals of the CAF champions League competition.

The Yellow and Mauves secured a historic qualification to the group stage of the CAF elite competition after seeing off Remo Stars and Horoya AC in the preliminary round.

After an early group stage setback against Al Ahly, the Ghanaian champions bounced to winning ways after beating Algerian side CR Belouizdad last Friday.

Medeama defeated the Algerian club 2-1 at the Baba Yara Stadium to record their first win in the group stage.

CR Belouizdad handed Medeama an early scare but goals from Daniel Lomotey and Kamaradini Mamudu ensured the Yellow and Mauves prevailed with victory.

“Medeama will, without a doubt advance to the quarterfinals in the CAF Champions League” he told Akoma FC in Kumasi.

Medeama will face Young African from Tanzania in their third group game at the Baba Yara Stadium this weekend.
