Dreams FC striker, John Antwi, has emphasized the formidable challenge posed by Egyptian Premier League giants Zamalek ahead of their upcoming clash.

In a hard-fought battle against Stade Malien, Dreams secured their spot in the semifinals with a 3-2 aggregate victory at the Baba Yara Stadium.

The achievement marks a significant milestone for Dreams FC in their debut campaign in the competition, showcasing their prowess on the continental stage.

Drawing from his experience playing in the Egyptian League with Al-Ahly SC, Pyramids FC, and Ismaily SC, Antwi acknowledged the strength of North African football and the calibre of teams like Zamalek.

He expressed confidence in his team's ability to face the challenge but acknowledged the difficulty ahead.

"It won’t be easy because I’ve been in Egypt, I know how their game is and I know the team Zamalek, I know the quality they have, the players they have, so going to meet one of these clubs, I think it’s going to be difficult," he told Citi Sports.

"We are going to prepare and meet them and I believe in the boys,” Antwi remarked.

Dreams FC is scheduled to square off against Zamalek on April 21 at the Cairo International Stadium before the return leg at the Baba Yara Stadium seven days time.
