Egyptian powerhouse Zamalek will travel to Ghana for the return fixture of the CAF Confederation Cup semifinals against Dreams on a chartered flight, Footballghana.com understands.

The 2019 Champions will tackle the Still Believe lads at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday, April 28, 2024 after the first leg ended in a pulsating goalless draw in Cairo.

Zamalek are expected to fly directly to Kumasi on Thursday to continue preparation for the much-anticipated clash this weekend. The Egyptian giants will land in Kumasi at 5pm today.

The former champions will train at the match venue 24 hours before kickoff as mandated by the competition's rule and regulations.

Meanwhile, Dreams FC will go into the game with advantage having secured an important goalless draw at the Cairo International Stadium.

Despite creating scoring opportunities, the Ghana FA Cup holders showed resilience and determination and prevented Zamalek from scoring in the first leg.

The match holds immense significance for Dreams FC, as they aim to become the first Ghanaian side in two decades to reach the final of the Confederation Cup.

The last time a Ghanaian team achieved this feat was in 2004 when Hearts of Oak and Kotoko faced off in the final, with Hearts emerging victorious.
