CAF Confederations Cup: Dreams FC set up Kallon FC clash in next round of qualifiers

Dreams FC will face Sierra Leonean club, FC Kallon in the final round of the CAF Confederations Cup qualifiers after they gain a walkover over Nigerien side AS Douanes due to the political unrest in the country.

The Still Believe lads will play home first before travelling for the second leg next month.

On Sunday, the Ghana FA Cup champions came from behind to record a 2-1 victory over Milo at the Accra Sports stadium in the second leg of the first preliminary round of the Confederation Cup.

Milo FC took the lead in the encounter as the visitors went to recess with a goal advantage.

After the break, Dreams FC uplifted their game and levelled pegging through Agyenim Boateng, who scored from the spot.

The game seems to have ended in a stalemate but experienced attacker John Antwi stepped up and grabbed the match-winner in stoppage time as Dreams FC progressed with a 3-2 aggregated score.
