Ghana forward Caleb Ekuban scored to help Trabzonspor defeat Altay 4-1 in the Round of 16 of the Turkish Cup on Thursday night.
Ekuban returned from a two months injury to score the second gaol for his his side before assisting Daniel Sturridge with a beautiful pass to make it 3-0 in the 63rd minute.
Sturridge opened the scoreline for Trabzonspor in the 51st minute with a clinical finish.
Portuguese midfielder Ivanildo Fernandes added the 4th goal in the 71st minute before Altay snatched a consolation goal through Marco Paixao in the 83rd minute.
