CD Tenerife has made a decision to part ways with Ghanaian forward Mohammed Dauda.

The Ghanaian forward, who joined the club amid high expectations, will be departing during the upcoming winter market.

Footballghana.com reported earlier that discussions between Dauda's agent and the club have intensified, with concerns revolving around the player's limited playing opportunities in the league.

Mohammed Dauda was set to leave the club during the summer transfer but his high salary stopped the move.

On 22 July 2022, Anderlecht announced that they had loaned Dauda to Spanish Segunda División side CD Tenerife for the 2022–23 season.

The 25-year-old enjoyed an amazing season on loan at Tenerife before making his move permanent. He scored 9 goals in 35 appearances in the Spanish second-tier.

In May 2023, Dauda signed a three-year deal with Tenerife.

The former Asante Kotoko striker has made three starts for Tenerife in the 2023/24 Spanish Segunda División.

CD Tenerife is 8th on the league table with 23 points after 14 games.
