The Black Galaxies of Ghana will arrive in Algeria on January 3 for the 2023 Championship of African Nations (CHAN).

After arriving in Egypt to prepare for the tournament, the Galaxies have been preparing intensively for their fourth CHAN campaign.

The team will now depart Cairo for Constantine on Tuesday.

During this Egypt camp, coach Annor Walker’s men enjoyed wins in two test matches – first defeating Egypt’s U-20s at Cairo Stadium.

On Saturday, the team rallied from behind to beat local giants Al Ahly 3-1 at Mokhtar El-Tetsh Stadium.

Meanwhile, Seidu Suraj and Maxwell Arthur have joined the camp as replacements for Bright Adjei and Evans Osei Wusu.

After settling down in Algeria, the Black Galaxies will have another 11 days to fine-tune until the kickoff of their opening match against Madagascar at 19:00 GMT on January 15 in their Group C opener.

Games against Sudan and defending champions Morocco will follow at four-day intervals to complete the group-stage campaign.
