Nigeria’s Super Eagles B coach Salifu Yusuf has shifted his attention to the return fixture against Ghana on Saturday after suffering defeat at the Cape Coast stadium.

Ghana gained an advantage in the tie by beating the Super Eagles 2-0 in the first leg of the Championship for African Nations (CHAN) qualifiers on Sunday.

Hearts of Oak duo Daniel Afriyie Barnieh and Seidu Suraj scored in the second half to ensure Ghana get a resounding win.

Ahead of the return leg, Salifu Yusif says he and his charges will work hard and see how they can cancel out the two-goal deficit in Abuja.

“It is our first game so the players were a bit jittery, they didn’t want to go forward and that caused the second goal. It is football, so we will work very hard to see how we cancel the two goals in Nigeria” he said.

The second leg of this tie comes off next Saturday at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.
