Nigeria’s Super Eagles B coach Salifu Yusuf was unable to hide his frustration at the penalty decision against his outfit during their clash against the Black Galaxies on Sunday.
Ghana gained an advantage in the tie by beating the Super Eagles 2-0 in the first leg of the Championship for African Nations (CHAN) qualifiers at the Cape Coast stadium on Sunday.
Hearts of Oak duo Daniel Afriyie Barnieh and Seidu Suraj scored in the second half to ensure Ghana get a resounding win.
At the post-match conference, Salifu Yusuf indicated the referee was a bit harsh in awarding a penalty against Nigeria.
“I think the penalty was a big blow to my team because there was commotion there and we believe the referee was a bit harsh”
The second leg of this tie comes off next Saturday at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.
