Former AshGold coach, Bashiru Hayford is set to turn down a long term deal at Ebusua Dwarfs for a possible national team job.

Ebusua Dwarfs are yet to bind the former Ashantigold Sporting Club coach to a proper long term contract despite the tough talking coach seen last week on the club’s touchline during the GHALCA-G8 tournament.

Management of the Cape Coast based side want to tie the manager to a long term contract, but coach Bashiru Hayford insists on a one year deal prolonging the discussion between the two parties.

Reports indicate that the manager is dragging his feet to pen down a long term contract, but will sign a year deal because a possible national team assignment.

According to deep throat sources close to the manager, coach Bashiru Hayford is eyeing a national team assignment; both Black Queens and Black Satellites head coach role are currently vacant.

Coach Bashiru Hayford as it stands is unattached and could be a possible replacement for coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani who was the head coach for both vacant national team positions.
