Coach Nii Odoom speaks highly of Franklyn Owusu; Says teenager will be key for Hearts

Head coach for Hearts of Oak, Edward Nii Odoom has expressed optimism in the chances of teenager Franklyn Owusu becoming an important asset for the first team.

The highly-rated forward has been promoted to the senior team of the Phobian club this week and will be part of the squad that will be registered for the 2020/2021 football season.

Speaking on the player, Coach Edward Nii Odoom has spoken highly of him and says he will continue to work on him to ensure he further develops.

“We will continue to work on him now that he is with the first team, and, I am very confident that going forward, he will become an important player for the club”, the coach said as quoted by the website of the club.

According to Franklyn Owusu, he is ready to put in the needed work to prove that he deserves a place in the Hearts of Oak first team.

“I am a very ambitious person and always wants to take up challenges and, I see this one as another opportunity to prove my worth at the senior team of this great club”, he said.
