International marketing officer for Aduana stars Collins Atta Poku has revealed what actually transpired in the epic clash between Aduana stars and Asante Kotoko on matchday 11 at the Nana Agyemeng Badu park in Dormaa.

Speaking on Citi FM's eye witness news last night, The Kessben Fm sports journalist revealed that Asante Kotoko paraded 10 players into the tunnel to march unto the field of play instead of 11 players as required by law.

"The issue is that we had a game against Asante Kotoko we got into the tunnel ready to walk on the pitch to start the game, the law requires that we all submit our starting eleven into the tunnel, when we got into the tunnel and found out that Asante Kotoko team are ten players then we protested to the match commissioner that they are supposed to be eleven before we move on the the pitch that's the requirement." said Atta Poku.

"And they brought in Collins Ameyaw in 8 jersey to meet eleven, then we check the team list and found out that Collins Ameyaw is suppose to be a substitute in the game, which means he is suppose to be on the substitute bench and not in the tunnel among the starting eleven,  the name in the starting eleven was Martin Antwi in jersey no 20 and so they brought Martin Antwi and we join and match onto the pitch" He added

" whiles we were entering the pitch we found out Martin Antwi has gone down injured and then he was being treated by the midics, our technical team consulted us and said if Asante Kotoko have decided to play the game with 10 players let's help them by letting one Farouk Adams sit out so we decided to play ten ten each,  I agree this occur here regardless that's was orchestrated by what we called superstition in football."

Atta Poku, however debunked the fact that they consulted a soothsayer prior to the game who instructed them to make such a move but rather confirmed that they knew what kotoko would do route to the match venue resulting to delay the game.

"we new everything Asante Kotoko wanted to do, from Kumasi to Sunyani then you get to Berekum and then u come to Dormaa that's an 80km journey but Asante Kotoko decided use the Drobo around and come behind Dormaa West in the Dormaa central so they were late to report to the stadium and we were doing everything to help them. we came onto the pitch first in second half and decided to play eleven before Martin Antwi came and we get the win."

Both teams however fielded 11 players each in the second half which ended in favour of Aduana Stars with Samuel Bio getting the only goal of the game in the dying minute for the ogyaa boys.
