Covid-19: Partey decides to continue paying wages of players of his club in Spain

Ghanaian international Thomas Partey will continue to pay players of his club, Alcobendas despite the financial difficulties presented by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) disease.

The Atletico Madrid superstar purchased the Spanish lower division club in 2019 after joining heads with his agent, Jose Jimenez, as well as two other investors.

Though the impact of the COVID-19 on all clubs have been immense, Partey and the other shareholders have decided to continue paying their players.

The Ghanaian wants to keep players of Alcobendas, a club located in Madrid and competition in Group 7 of the Spanish Tercera very comfortable throughout the COVID-19 period.

Meanwhile, growing talks have it that Arsenal is closing in on the signing of Thomas Partey to give them a boost for the next season of the English Premier League season.
