Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parishis to hold talks with manager Alan Pardew as the club look to resolve the team's poor performances.

TheEvening Standardare reporting that Parish is meeting with Pardew to see if the 55-year-old is the right man to bring Palace back to winning ways.

Talks are taking place following Palace's ridiculous 5-4 defeat at the hands ofSwansea at the weekend. In the game Palace were leading at the 85th minute, yet still went on to lose the game.

Parish has always backed Pardew in his time at Selhurst Park, but he and the club's American co-owners,David Blitzer and Josh Harris, are growing more and moreconcerned.

Pardew is expected to still be in charge of his side when they face Southampton, at Selhurst Park, on Saturday and the former Palace player has admitted it is time to makechanges to his underperformingteam.

They currently have the worst record across all four leagues in England and have conceded 18 goals in a losing streak, that has lasted six games.

13 of the 18 goals they have conceded have come from set-pieces and it's a clear part of their play Pardew will need to focus on.

The Standard report Parish is keen to see if Pardew can stick to his word and turn things around at the club. However, with a busy winter period approaching many are questioning how much patience the chairman has.
