Ghana defender Daniel Opare is set to return to the Black Stars after following his recent form with club side Augsburg in the German bundesliga.
The former Real Madrid player could be making his return to the Black Stars after a three year absence.
The right back struggled in the past season with form and injury since returning from the World Cup in Brazil I 2014.
Opare joined Augsburg in 2015 but could not break into the team and had to be farmed out on loan where he had spells with RC Lens in France. On loan, he could not feature consistently.
However, he returned to Augsburg and has found form and was recently named in the Bundesliga team of the week.
The defender has not hidden his desire to return to the national team insisting he will honour a call up anytime he is invited.
The 26 year old will have to compete with Harrison Afful for a spot in the team.
